Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. Supports Virginia Damage Prevention Conference

Virginia Beach, VA April 23rd 2007 – Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. continued its prominent role at the Virginia Damage Prevention Conference the week of April 23, 2007 in Virginia Beach. This annual conference focuses upon the communication and promotion of safe excavation practices throughout the State of Virginia. Following the 2004 merger of ProMark Utility Locators and Great Plains Locating Services; Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. has been an active contributor in promoting and participating in this Virginia based event.

Activities kicked off the day prior to the conference during the annual “Captain’s Choice” golf tournament, organized by Carl Brumfield, Senior Director of Business Development with Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. Over forty participants from the Virginia Damage Prevention Stakeholder community enjoyed a beautiful spring day at the Signature at West Neck golf course.

During the morning general session of the conference agenda, Brian Seaberg with Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. delivered a presentation on the exciting advancements in wireless applications that can improve excavation safety. These advancements are targeted at improving the quality of data captured during a damage investigation.
